I don't get the "wins instagram" thing.

Does anybody actually see any humor or anything positive what so ever in that picture? The only thing he is winning is having his Winnipeg fan base (and most of the hockey world) turn on him.

Maybe it's a generational divide, but I'm guessing anybody that sees that pic and goes "that's awesome" or "that's hilarious" likely has a 1 or 2 as the first digit of their age.

I think Edmonton is far worse than Winnipeg.

In terms of 'Quality of Life' its probably a wash, which isnt saying much, but if I were a player I'd probably much rather play in Winnipeg than Edmonton.

Have you seen the Oilers getting booed off the ice? Its vicious! I couldnt imagine that 41 times a year let alone the number of times it happens on the road!

Playing for the Oilers should be management and coaching staff's thermonuclear deterrent.

Yeah, but Kane is more or less saying....I know our GM never does anything so I'm going to try and act in a way that he wants to trade me to Edmonton...but won't because he's too scared to ever make a move.

You and others who have a problem with it need to relax. What is so wrong with it? He has the money and is having fun with it, it's no different then Selanne and his million cars, celebs with their huge mansions, etc etc. Maybe he's been smart and not blowing it on materials and is saving it?

Most people just decided to ignore the fact that he won the money in Vegas where he was having fun with teammates. Almost every other person in that casino would post a picture to instagram if they won that amount of money. It doesn't make you arrogant or classless to post a memorable moment to your instagram account. He's just doing what almost every 23 year old would do.

Also, I don't understand the people who are upset about this because apparently he is behaving like a "bad role model". What horrible message does this send to children? If you work hard and accomplish your goals; you may just hit a once in a lifetime hot streak in Vegas. You are really grasping at straws here if you think that this picture will jeopardize the future of a child.
