Great game by Gaudreau. Glad that he was rewarded on the scoresheet for it.

Actually, if you were watching the game, he thinks the flames are going to do very good this season.

He simply thinks coming back when behind after 2 is unsustainable.

Scott Oake just asked Hartley about the injured guys, to be totally honest I completely forgot we had Mason Raymond. It seems so long ago that to start the year he had 5 goals in ten games and Colborne had 8 points in 11.

Kypreos is like Rob Brown (look him up) - surround him with enough talent and he looks like a solid performer. On his own... Not so much.

Me too, but it's hard to properly read into the plethora of comments on this forum when it comes to the media. It just seems as though once a personality expresses anything remotely negative he/she becomes demonized.

Obviously, I didn't notice your tongue firmly planted in your cheek. Apologies.

Scott Oake interviewing Hartley. Says winning is contagious. Says it all starts with hard work and with his captain Giordano. Says he is a big believer in young players. Also gave props to the scouting staff for reloading the cupboards. Says he has no doubt that Gio and Brodie are the best defensive pairing in the NHL. Says Mony is a great leader. Said they showed the Johnny Hockey end to end scoring rush when he was a a 10 yr old at the West Edmonton Mall tourney, to the whole team this week - and they all laughed about it.

Well, you're both right. Buddy just put the coming back down to earth comment into context. He did say "no, I still think they'll have a very good season, while coming back down to earth as well." Johnson when he made those comments was responding to Romanuk's comments about third period come backs.

No kidding, our 2 top forwards at the time of their injury both waiting to come back. Raymond's speed will fit nicely with the rest of our team's intensity right now.

That's a great story. This is what makes HNIC so great. These anecdotes by formers players are interesting.

Hahah, I liked this Tweet by Josh Humphries near the end of the game:

‏@FAN960Josh
If this holds up Kari Ramo will become the first #flames goaltender to post a shutout since Kari Ramo on nov 26/14 #didyaknow
