Yeah, thanks for your post and what you say could be true, I'd just like to have a third party confirm what league executives say.

I'm not meaning to attack Major Junior leagues or teams, I think it's been a great part of developing players. From what I've read the NCAA also has it's problems and despite what is advertised only a few hockey team members get a full scholarship.

Well those 4 community teams books are open to the public. I also read last night, Kitchener, a large jr hockey market, made $130,000 last year. There are alwasy going to be the 4-5 teams like London, Halifax, Quebec, ect... that skew things, but going of those community teams, the ratios make sense.

I have no idea about the money Kitchener made but they did just pay a boatload of money to lift the roof of their building and add a bunch of seats, so I doubt they are hurting for cash in any way.
