All mascots are pretty stupid looking, to be honest (which is fine, as long as the kids enjoy them). But Scorch is so over-the-top, hideously, laughably horrific, that he (she?) is actually the most awesome mascot in history.

For the record, I'm not offended, even though I posted that facepalming firefighter.
I just think the reveal was terrible, in really poor taste, and the design really really bad.
But I do agree, it's hilariously bad, and I hope they don't do something stupid like change it. Own the embarrassment.
