He's on Shaw Basic. It is what it is. I don't pay that much for Shaw every month, but have the HD package. I can watch it in HD at 5 on Shaw without issue.

Just curious.
It has more to do with Arizona fans... This is one less "Home" pre-season game for Arizona to host. If you look at their pre-season schedule they actually only have two home games in Arizona. Kind of BS Flames season ticket holders have to pay for 4 full priced games but Arizona fans only pay for 2.

Very true. I don't have a problem with having a contract because I'm no longer moving around but I could see some people would for sure. Forgot about that.

And the constant drop of TV signal.
And the slower broadband after 5:00 pm.
And the piss-poor customer service.

This isn't a Shaw vs. TELUS thread, but I have great experience overall with Optik... no drops, great speed after 5:00...

Customer service blows with all major corporations, Shaw, TELUS, Rogers, Bell... all suck.

Is Poirier injured? I was sure that we were going to see him get a chance at this point to make the jump. He is pretty big and strong already.

Yes, he had surgery for a shoulder injury in June. Original talk was late November, but more recent talk suggests he's recovering more quickly than expected. We might see him in late October or mid-November.

Yes it does. One wants to win and lives hockey and fitness, the other could care less about winning as long as the weather is nice.

Telus has its advantages, but living in residence (Shaw only) on a student budget it's Shaw basic or nothing.

And this is more of a Rogers/CBC problem than a Shaw/Telus problem.
