If your daughter is that sick that you don't think she'll be able to make it to Children's it's time you call an ambulance and let the professionals do their job.

No offense taken, we are just discussing a difference of opinion.

I think the ACH is amazing, my daughter went their two years ago for her surgery. Hell, I started a thread pumping their tires.

All that being said, I think the location isn't optimal. BTW calgarygeologist, thanks for clearing up my missconception about access to the ACH. That being said I wonder if there is anyone else that didn't know this.........

I don't think the location is central, and as it is a stand alone hospital, I think there could have been a more centralized location.

BTW, ExiledFlamesFan, the city is growing in the "edge of the earth" deep south. In 10 years it will might be a long trek to tthe ACH.

Anyway just my opinion, and we all know what opinions are like.......

No surprise here - a review has deemed the shooting to be appropriate action.

Quote:
A government review has cleared Alberta Fish and Wildlife in the shooting of a cougar that wandered onto the grounds of the South Health Campus on September 18th.

The review shows that shooting the big cat was the best response for the safety of the public even though there had been some backlash and even a makeshift memorial set up at the site where the cougar was downed.

Cops have free reign to kill people. Anyone seriously thought someone would get in trouble for killing an animal? LOL

Oh please Alberta Fish and Wildlife are animal cops. I bet animal rap groups from the 80's and 90's sang less than flattering songs about them all the time.
