Many of us were hoping Ferland would get another shot with Johnny and Monahan for multiple reasons. Glad it is working out this time.

Don't want to jinx it but I don't remember seeing him lose a fight. Players remember that Canuck series, it gave Ferland a reputation around the league without a doubt. His freakish hitting power will make a lot of player think twice about messing with Johnny. I still remember when he knocked out that dude in Junior. One of the cleanest knockouts I've seen on the ice.

He's got that great sneaky style of keeping the one free arm way out behind him so it's tough to grab a hold of. It catches a lot of guys off guard with how quick he throws em.

My only issue with Ferland on the top line is I have found in the past he starts to think he is a finesse player after a few games and forgets that physical play is the cornerstone of his game. Hopefully this time is different.
