Sure. Pass up the shot from 6 yards out and shoot from 35 instead...

Palacios should be banned for the rat tail hair-do.

For an England fan, it's a lesser of two evils, but I'm cheering Argentina.

I feel like Drury would rather be commentating travel exposes than football matches.

What an awful situation here.

After that Ger v Bra game captured the worlds attention, soccer goes ahead and puts up back to back 0-0 games. Shameful.

Argentina could win this championship by scoring 2 goals in the final 4 games. Way to rope in the uninnitated masses. Zzzzzzzzzz

Well I've tried to watch the final, but ended up falling asleep on the couch. It's not the lack of scoring that gets me, there's plenty of exiting 0-0 NHL hockey games. It's how slow the game moves and how few chances there are, maybe I just can't appreciate the subtlety or strategy of the game like the hardcore fans can

Any reason though that they don't do sudden death overtime? Seems silly to have a guaranteed extra 30 minutes after regulation ends in a tie

I suppose if an NHL team scores an overtime goal in game 7, they should play until the end of the period then?

Yup. Both teams so nervous to make a mistake in the last 5-10 minutes it seem this new 30 minute buffer has opened it up. A mistake here and you still got time to recover

Most of the matches all tournament have been excellent. This is one of the worst of the tournament.

In sudden death, matches were rarely decided, with both teams simply defending. More incentive to open it up in this format I guess...
