Now if we could just translate that into some more cup wins, Huff would be a shoe in for the hall of fame.

Meaning, BLM likely gets an NFL look imo.
Bo could get an NFL look, but he isn't an NFL qb. He's good enough to go down and hold a clipboard for a few years. He actually stands to make more money in the CFL over the course of ten or fifteen years, as he's a 350k league minimum player in the NFL, and he's probably a 450k quarterback in Canada.

And up here, he actually gets to play.

Kid's a stud though, no question.

The big thing for the NFL, at least according to Dickenson, is getting to the minimum game number to get a pension. So even if all he is doing is holding a clipboard and making some less money (although likely at least 2 years if ever that he makes 400,000+) if he can get the pension much better for him in the long run.

Did Dickenson get enough games for the pension? I thought he fell a bit short?

Wooohooo!! Stamps won 34-15.

Good all around game for Stampeders. Argonauts was just no match in this game.

OFFENSE :

Bo Levi Mitchell was poised and played well all game. Love those long passes to Anthony Parker, Jeff Fuller, Marquay McDaniel and Brad Sinopli. Speaking of Parker and Fuller, they are becoming to be BLM's favorite target. This is by far the best game by Anthony Parker that I ever seen as a Stampeders. He looked confident and making plays. One TD and over 100 yards receiving. Jeff Fuller is our best receiver so far this season. 2 TD today.
Offensive Line played well again today. They gave BLM lots of time and just outplayed the Argos' defense. I don't think BLM got pressured much today. We figured the OLine might suffer this season after losing Tsoumpas, Gott and Deane but so far they are very impressive. RB Matt Walter did a decent job. He didn't get Cornish numbers but he was good running the ball and blocking. Jock Sanders play was mixed. He still played well though.

DEFENSE :

Defense dominated in this game. They did not give up a TD at all. DLine could have sacked Ricky Ray at least 5 or 6 or even. The only way the Argos OLine can stop them is to hold them hence a tons of holding penalties by the Argos. I just love all the pressures they have thrown at Ray all game. LB and secondary also outplayed their opponents. Aside from the early big gain by Chiles, Argos receiver rarely beat Stamps secondary with the big gain.

SPECIAL TEAM :

Like I mentioned earlier Jock Sanders game was mixed. He's got the long gain on a missed field goal. Some great blocking on special team on that return also. Sanders also fumbled a punt return when he took his eye off the ball in the second half. I am sure he'll learn from it. Mr. Perfect Rene Paredes was not perfect today. This is probably his worst game ever as a Stampeder. He connected on two field goal, missed one when the ball suddenly went wide then in the 2nd half, his field goal was blocked. No biggie as he will definitely bounce back next game. Paredes doesn't even get rattled much so I am sure he'll start his perfect streak again next game. Special team coverage did a great job in covering Chad Owens. Their ST blocking was good too.

PENALTIES and TURNOVER :

They had 6 penalties in the 1st half and I thought it will continue in the 2nd half. They are more disciplined in the 2nd half and the Argonauts actually are the ones gulity of so many stupid and unnecessary penalties. Stamps i believed only one fumble all game.

Good game and very entertaining game.

I could be wrong but I recall reading that the pension Dickenson missed out on was less than $1000 a month. Which obviously is better than nothing and things have changed in the 15 years since Dave was a Charger, but just the same.

I used to go to TSN's website and VOD the games that I was away for . Just tried it and now there's some stupid tsngo thing that tells me I can't because I'm with Shaw. So now I have to pvr the games (and skip the commercials anyway) or is there another way? Seems kind of moronic on TSN's part. The VOD was never available until a few days past the game anyway, so I'm not sure what they think they're "protecting" seems like a dumb move......

Bo-levi is having a very solid start to his career, but this NFL talk is way too premature. He's no Jeff Garcia or Doug Flutie.

If the other quarterbacks in the CFL work hard and not give up, they'll be winners too, they just have to . . .

BO-LIEVE
