Witcher looks good. But PC is certainly the way to go there. Xbone or PS4 won't look like that.

The Division is still looking interesting. I was disappointed when they mentioned a revival of an original Xbox game and it wasn't Jet Set Radio.

After watching that MS presser sounds like the Kinect is pretty much on it's death bed. Looks like MS is heading back in the right direction. Some pretty good games announced unfortunately mostly in 2015 or later.

Wow, not really a single mention of Kinect or anything not games related. I suppose not totally surprising, but no mention at all?
All in people wanted games and they showed some good ones for sure. Sunset Overdrive looked amazing imo. My favourite announcement was probably the new Tomb Raider game, but then that'll be multi-platform.

They did show the Gears logo though.
Pretty solid conference, no shocking megabombs (Halo collection great but leaked earlier) but certainly better than last year. Looking forward to more details of what they touched on today.

They're showing more of the Tomb Raider now after the fact - wtf? Not what I was expecting. Ala Guardian of Light? Boo.

Sunset Overdrive looks bloody brilliant. The Master Chief Collection will get a good amount of time out of me as well.

Nothing from MS that would sway me from a PS4 when I do buy... Still... Wii Bone U.... Still on the fence I guess.

The name of the new Dead Rising 3 DLC is definitely a highlight for me so far.

I think what someone said before was correct: (Supermatt? too lazy to go back and look) Microsoft needed to over deliver and I really don't think they came close.

Yeah think that was me.
They actually shot themselves in the foot with the announcement of the $399 kinect-less sku and Forza Horizon 2 prior to E3.
Had they started off the show today with the announcement of the $399 sku and then drove through the next 90 minutes with the exact same games it would have been a home run.
But by announcing all of that stuff early it made people expect that they had huge things planned for the show but really it ended up falling short of what had already been announced.
Good show held back by lots of multiplatform, and lots of stuff we knew about already (Halo, Forza, Sunset), but can't be a definitive win because it lacked that "wow" moment.

So? As someone Dino7c pointed out: A lot of it is cross platform and will look better on PS4. If my choice is coming down to looks knowing a lot of the games are not exclusive, why would I go Xbone?

I'm not sure they wanted to hold that for the conference though.
News about removing Kinect and making the price finally comparable was a bomb when it came but it was also came across with a "catch-up/capitulation" tone. By getting it out there earlier they could focus on the games I think.
Microsoft's E3 last year actually wasn't terrible. But it was overshadowed by their $499 price point though and everything else was basically wiped out as a result. Nobody remembers anything else about it. I think they were looking to avoid that again.

Wasn't Harmonix and Fantasia up on stage for a while? I got distracted away from the feed at point with a phone call.

Playing Halo CE multiplayer online would be fantastic. Not overly surprised that's all they had to show. It was a decent conference and it was nice to see them show nothing but games. This is really what they should have done last year. I think if they had finished with a Halo/Gears/new IP trailer it would have closed better.
I imagine Sony's conference will be similar at least in terms of multi-platform games shown. I am interested to see if they have any big unannounced game to unveil.
Also, ffs Sega, create a new Jet Set Radio.

Haha, I wondered if anybody would call me on that. Yes, one Kinect mention.
