Count me in as one of those people who is not sold Draisaitl. I haven't seen the guy play so I can't really say much about him but it is just a gut feeling though. Or he could be another successful pick from PA Raiders just like Mike Modano a long time ago.
I would prefer Sam Reinhart but the poll was asking for Bennett or Draisaitl so I chose Bennett.

I think a lot of us are of the mindset that we would sooner have Bennett, Reinhart or Ekblad - but are (mostly) on board with Draisaitl at 4 if all three of those guys are already gone.

Draisaitl looks poised to be a good player - but he's definitely my #4, not my #1, 2 or 3.

Some of you should listen to the interview with Draisaitl's PA coach. He also coached (asst) Getzlav for the Hitmen and compares him very favourably. I won't have any problem with choosing any of the top 4.

A poll on whether or not we pick a player outside of the top 4 (Ritchie) or not.

If the Flames remain at 4th I hope it is a Sam we get.
I really don't see Ekblad and Bennett making it past the 3rd pick though.

Getzlaff had 102 pim his final Jr year vs Draisatl 24 pim.
Something tells me Draisatl is lacking that ingredient that makes Getzlaff so competitive at the NHL level.

He had 0 PIM in his draft year and the most he's ever had was 32 in 2008-9 with the Kings.

Getzlaf only had 31 PIM this season, his lowest ever.

Draisaitl. He just said his favorite song is You shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC and favorite movie is Happy Gilmour. He also is built like a man compared to the other three top forwards. Can't miss with this guy.

Read somewhere here that the Flames are his favourite team. Seems logical with his dad's history and his brother playing here.

Not sure why people misspell Reinhart so much. Flames have had at least 2 that I know of, we should be able to spell the name right. Is it an autocorrect thing?

The good thing about this years draft and picking in the top four is that Bennett, Reinhart, eckblad, and draisaitl are all pretty close in terms of projected ceiling so I will be happy with any of them.

More of a comparable for Draisaitl than Getzlaf
