The Wild weren't that boring against the Avs. The Coyotes play was lame when they played the Kings 2 years ago.

It's better than watching on CBC and having to listen to Bob Cole. Bob is a legend, but he's so far past his time, he's downright awful at this point.

He wasn't good last night that's for sure but for his age it's a miracle he's still as good as he is.

You realize there was no hockey in 2005 and the Penuins won a lottery to get Crosby right?

Yes, a "lottery". Maybe I should be wearing a tinfoil hat, but I still think it's a little too convenient that Pittsburgh got Crosby.

So did they tank for Crosby or was it a league conspiracy? It can't be both.

I never said they tanked.

Pittsburgh up 1-0 Malkin scoring 2 minutes into the game.

Rangers playing very sloppy so far. First few shifts had some good chances but it's been all in the New York zone since then.

I wonder if Fleury can shut out the Rangers for a third consecutive time?
Crosby assisted on Malkin's goal.

I could be both, they won the lotterie behind closed doors and tanked enough that people believed it.

This game is about as exciting as the Hawks - Wild game last night.

^ At leas the third period of the Hawks/Wild game was pretty exciting. This series has just been unbearable to watch since game one.

Rangers have 11 shots after 40 mins.

How did the Flyers lose to these guys? Any of the 8 West playoff teams would have wiped the floor with the Rangers in the first round.

Sutter scores the shorthanded go ahead goal with 93 seconds left in the second period, 2-1 Pittsburgh. The third period is underway.
