If the Smid hit wasn't where it was - Jackman hit the double stanchion by the zamboni door he wouldn't have been hurt and there wouldn't have been a call.

I get the feeling that Grats is the best friend of everyone in that room.

Not to mention If its deemed a hit to the head then why was Jackman not in the quite room for 10mins ? Is that not the concussion protocol for any illegal hit to the head?

If you can't make that play, I have no clue how he's supposed to stop Jackman there, then.

Jackman's more at fault for putting his damn head down when he knows Smid's about to engage him.
Not a dirty hit, but a dumb hit. Which is why I think he'll only get a game.

I think Jackman embellished that hit. I think his flip back with his head was to make sure there was a PP there. I'm OK with it being a penalty....as long as the refs called the hit on Bouma later. Either don't call any, or call them all....just saying.

Can totally see those two losers just playing video games for hours

I like me some Kate Beirness, but she needs to lay off the tanning cream.

I like her too but what's with female sports broadcasters and their obvious fake deep voices.

Lady on SN is even worse

Then he should have gone to the quiet room instead of sitting on the bench.

Wes Gilbertson ‏@SUNGilbertson 14m When #Flames LW Lance Bouma was in WHL, practised blocking shots with sponge pucks. Now, seems to forget/ignore they're not sponge anymore.
