He showed up wanting to fight Hartley in between periods for starting his 4th line.

Allowing 7 goals in a period against a vanekless, tavaresless, defeated islanders team at home should warrant a blow up from torts IMO

More like Snore-torella, he actually doesn't sound like the snap-show he is known to be. "I have to show them the things they did well" it actually gives off the image he's not a tyrant, this can't be right.

I thought they'd be a 7-10th place team, I did not expect them to collapse like this. Schadenfreude man, it is good. In regards to Torts, I think given the personnel, the trend the team was on, the injury situation, etc. I do not think they could have done much better with AV.

Dear Canucks fans,

This is officially year one of the Flames rebuild, and not year 7 or 8 like the Oilers are at.

Sincerely,

Flames fans.

Canucks blow 3 goal lead and allow 7 goals in a period. Yes.

Just watching the Nucks 3rd on Gamecentre and OMG LMFAO!

They took a good penalty to end the second and gave up a PPG to start the third but still had a 3-1 lead at this point. What happened next was pure comedy gold. Three stupid penalties in a row and all of a sudden the Isles have the lead. The Nucks actually show some fight back to tie it but right after the faceoff Lack gives the puck away and lets in a backhand from the slot. I didn't think it could get any better but then the 6th Islanders goal went in and it was the most hilarious of them all.

I have never felt so much schadenfreude in such a short amount of time.

I don't see how they fire torts and eat that salary after year one of his contract when ownership was nixing deals because they wanted playoff revenue. He will have 4 years at 1.8 left? I can't see them eat all of that with no chance of playoff revenue coming in.

Lost in this, Stempniak is playing on Crosby's line and picked up 2 assists last night.

I remember so many Flames fans on here said Nonis was a moron for letting Grabovski-the best Leafs centre go.

Canucks fans keep saying that this is "rock bottom".

This isn't close to rock bottom.

You can tell how many of their fans are only from the last ~10 years. Most of their existence has been rock bottom, they seem to forget that.

Dunno man from what I saw that might actually be it; I can't recall a more embarrassing effort from a hockey team.

The Canucks are only 4 points out of a wild card spot (albeit, other teams have games in hand).

Rock bottom is what the Oilers seem to be every year....the worst team in the league with no signs of getting better. The Canucks still have a ways to go before they're in Oiler territory.
