Very impressed with the Finnish team, they deserved a medal atleast and who knows we might have been playing them tomorrow for the Gold medal if Rask was good to go against Sweden. Impressed with Leo Komarov as well, a pest in the mold of Ville Niemenen who has decent hands.
Also, nothing else can be said about Teemu Selanne. 6 Olympics and a class act. What a player.

Simply phenomenal.
So, so many reasons to hate the US team and so many reasons to pull for the Fins.
Today, good prevailed over evil.

US had nothing left after yesterdays game....that was their gold medal contest.
Fins play as a team like no other in the world though and deserve everything they got today.

Nice work by the Fins. An easy team to admire. USA a big disappointment in this tournament.

The Americans are such a bunch of babies. No pride unless they beat Canadians. This is a pathetic display of representation of the United States. I think of all of the people who would have killed to be at these games and represented their country and instead, the US gets sissy boys Kesler and company.
I feel like a bad person because I am loving seeing Kesler look like an idiot. Then again.. I will get over it quickly.

After this, I bet Granlund is going to be on fire the rest of the season.

To be fair to the U.S Canada did the exact same thing in 1998.
It is tough to lose a heartbreaker less then 20 hours earlier, and then be expected to turn around and give 110% in the next game. The Finns can do it but for most (Canada, Russia, U.S.) the bronze just doesn't matter.

Watching the web feed from CBC (which has been awesome throughout the Olympics; well done CBC).
The Finns are getting their medals now? Don't they normally go to the gold medal game and everyone gets them all at once?
