The "story" making the rounds right now is that a Swedish reporter Mats Wennerholm was writing up on the team and who he thought should replace Henrik, and suggested Backlund. The rumor on the rumor is that NA news sources jumped on it thinking that he was reporting it as news.
However, for it to be this widespread and from most major sources here, I wouldn't put it all on a simple mis translation. There's got to be more to it than that.

That Shnarped app (the one Westgarth selling a few weeks back) just told me he was going. Got all excited for him... Even if he doesn't go, I think that's probably a big deal that he is even on the radar.
Hopefully this also means that if he continues his career without any hiccups, four years down the road, he can be a big piece for Sweden (I hope...) 
Either way, will keep my fingers crossed!

For those wondering, Simmer has talked about Czechoslovakia many times during the Flames' broadcasts. Many people have taken to twitter to ask Kerr and Millions to get him to update his world map, but he continues to say it. He's done it in at least 4 games, possibly more. It's been talked about in GTs and PGTs as well. I'm guessing he still thinks Hong Kong is part of the UK.
I am 100% not breaking news. I was just making a Simmer joke.
