this evening i was laying on our living room floor and our daughter (who is almost 10 months old) was sitting by me playing with one of her toys. out of the blue she stops playing with her toy, turns her head and looks at me, then leans over and buries her head into my upper chest/collarbone area. her one hand reaches out and grabs onto my neck, her other hand reaches out and grabs onto my shoulder..... her first hug!!! she then released and went back to playing. about a minute later she did it again, and then returned to playing. this cycle continued for quite a bit. then my wife came upstairs and i said to her, 'watch this!' so she stood there watching and sure enough jordan gave me another hug. i think my wife was almost in tears as she was saying, 'that is sooooo sweet!!'
