It's understandable that CBC's goal is to keep viewership high and one way to do that in a lopsided matchup is to keep pumping the losing team's tires and searching for positives...

...but they're taking it way too far. They just look stupid at this point.

I think we all need to understand that it's not when the Oilers win the Cup, but how many.

That's how far.
I think the main concern is the core refusing to play anything resembling a two way team game. Something is very rotten at the heart if this team.

5 goals for St. Louis against the 5-time Stanley Cup winning Champs...OMG...you are right... this is enjoyable beyond description! Another 5 years of this and Oilers fans might start to show some humility!!!

Edmonton just trying to goon it up now, slew foot in front of the net, then Potter grabs the smallest guy he can find to 'act tough'.

This team is quite the joke.

Considering they do it a lot, the Oilers sure are bad losers.

Honestly are the Oilers the worst team in the history or sports in North America over a five year period? They just might be, hopefully someone whips something up during the Christmas break, as not many teams were so bad for this long.

A train wreck has nothing on this team, wow. No structure, no heart, no hockey smarts. Unbelievable.

5-0.
okay he remembered how to play hockey on the flight form Calgary to St. Louis

his "support" in Calgary was a totally dysfunctional team who's top players didn't do what the coaches asked them to. Not many D-men look good on bad teams

JBo having success again in a non-hockey market.

I do not recall a hockey player ever with the Flames who was less comfortable in front of the camera or with the attention. Ever. makarov didn't like it it, but understood it. Same with Kipper. JBo though, withered with the attention. Glad he is rebounding, but this guy cannot play in a hockey market.
