The funniest part of that picture, is that someone felt the need to circle the guy in the back, for fear that no one would notice him.

Three Rob Anders updates:

1. I believe that the deadline to join the local PC constituency if you want to vote for Liepert is this coming Thursday, March 20. I understand that Anders is already robocalling members.

2. Anders wants to take military action against Russia - http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...says-1.2575556

3. And this is oh, SO good - Rob Anders is now on Twitter @bluetoryrob.

I hope he's as candid on Twitter as he is everywhere else.

Not sure anyone in any job capacity around the world is more protected than Rob is. He must know where every single CPC corpse is hidden to keep getting free rides despite being a total embarassement.

How can anyone take Stephen Harper seriously when he continues to support this abomination of a politician in Anders.

Low taxes... Redford... communism... On his website he links to a video of a speech he gave to cadets (who are under 18) in which one of them passes out I presume and he makes a joke about it. Start at around 2:30.

How can anyone take Conservative voters in his riding seriously when they keep re-electing him?

Tories chastise Rob Anders for calls to Conservatives

Rob Anders names "Temporary Tories" in press conference

Man, this is a nasty race. As a political junkie, it's kinda neat to see this right in my riding. But I bet things will get worse as we approach April 12.

If Anders wasn't so brutally embarrassing, people in that riding wouldn't become temporary tories in an effort to oust him.

Anders is toast-- I hope.

My wife and I took out memberships last week before the deadline to vote, and we're usually supporters of the CPC. I was hoping we'd get one of those calls but didn't. This is finally a chance to toss Anders, the fact he has been my representative for so many years is embarrassing.

If you think he's awful now, you should have seen him in university-- I saw him weekly. Just a total jackass, kind of like that Pinocchio video online. That he got elected and has held onto it has made me question our mechanisms of democracy.

I have held a membership most of my last 14 years living in the riding. When called by the party for a donation, my answer has been the same: As long as Anders is my rep I won't give a dime. Get him out, and I'm happy to reconsider.

And now with Harper endorsing him, I'm again looking for alternative, but I'm no Trudeau supporter and I will never vote NDP, not even once.

Anders is getting more and more desperate.

I personally got a phone call asking if I was supporting Liepert. When I called back, the voicemail said thanks for callling Rob Anders volunteer headquarters.

And Anders is now personally phoning people to try to win support. He got hung up on by my family, and I'm assuming we aren't the only ones.

Pretty typical for Anders. I think the last time he labeled every on the riding committee closet liberals and had the central CPC decide he would be the person running. Unfortunatly for him he can't just do that this time since he is running against a former provincial minister.

So the Anders camp makes misleading calls, is exposed for doing so, he denies it, then he threatens to sue, then the party slaps his wrist and tells him to not to make those same calls that he was denying making in the first place?

This guy is hilarious. I knew he was a joke and he'd be doing some desperate things, but surely this must be the final nail in his political coffin. Please.

That would be great if he got punted but that would never happen with Harper around. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he beat Liepert. Somehow.

The gift that keeps giving and giving. If he leaves office in 2015 and lives until he is 80, $3,034,089 would be his pension.
