Yeah and it's a really silly thing to say. Patrick Sharp missed two open nets tonight, is he not an NHL player now?

Just before the 3rd goal Berra grabs the post with his trapper. Then he's fata'd on the shot.
Like some kind of Trevor Kidd tic or something. Dude's a spaz

Because that loss was my fault, not Berra's
I still think he'll be great once he adjusts to NA ice a bit more. Most of these soft goals are from him just not having quite the right angle. Easy enough to fix once he adjusts.
Glad that we'll see some Ramo this week though.

I get it and sometimes I'm with you... I'd rather see the younger guys given those key minutes more often... but then I look north and realize developing players isn't just about handing them as much ice time as possible without any consequences.

To be fair, from a pretty balanced perspective of both teams, the Flames didn't play all that poorly.
Decent start, great 2nd, and average 3rd. The problem with having an "average" period against a team like Chicago, is that if they actually turn it on, it's going to look like TERRIBLE period.
Flames really should have had a point, but with the way the Hawks played in the 3rd, there wasn't much likelihood of them getting any more than that. You're just not going to get much in the way of points when the Hawks are playing like that.
Either way, I thought the game was entertaining! A lot better than a few of the bores lately.

I haven't forgotten. Nothing about following a sports teams and being a "fan" is rational. Emotions are not rational either. I'd like it to not piss me off, but here we are

I used to play. But a blind pig can see that Berra constantly puts himself out of position.
And yes it is hard. That is why it is the NHL. Bottom line is the other 29+ starting goalies stop more pucks then Berra.
Stop making excuses for him. Those were stoppable pucks and he failed to stop them. Again.

On a bright note, it appears Calgary won 38 of the 66 faceoffs... against the Hawks I'd say that's a major plus.
How did Shern Mernahernds play? 1 goal, 1 shot, -1. Besides the stats how was he?
