Small sample size in which the hard work got them a little better results than they likely deserved and now lack of talent/skill is catching up with them as it usually does as the season progresses. Also think that a lot if the "playing well early" was a bit overblown and the fact they weren't completely awful overshadowed the fact they weren't much better than they are now.
