Hello all been browsing this widsite for 6 plus years finally decided to be a voice instead of just ears.
First I'd like to say keep glenx of defensive duty's to an office just outside the crease in the offensive zone. Second please give Ramo some more games. Joey MacDonald has been awinning and has made some great saves but, his old school (I do not consider him hybrid) has been hurting us. Eg: slapshot in devils game he went out and fell backwords? Same with Subbans point shot (they both actually fell back in to thier bench to celebrate) . and last ( only cuz it's a pain in the you know what on a small screen) Winnick's "dive" I did not like that . It didn't hit him in the neck I dvr'd the hell out out it. It hit middle in the back of the head . He's little peek a boo too see if the ref was blowing the whistle for him then pops up no good. 2 for embellishment.

Really impressive.

Backlund isn't undersized but I agree.

Yeah, while not a big guy at 6 feet 200 pounds Backlund isn't a small player.

Any timetable on when Cammalleri will be back? I'm starting to miss him. This was the first game that the lack of a pure goal scorer was noticeable to me.

I may throw glencross in that mix of the bad. Use him as a door to screen and keep him there.

It was just nice to see the Flames keep pushing. I thought this one might get a bit ugly, but the Flames didn't give up. This is part of learning to win together. They managed to stay in this game when it would have been easy to fold.
Agree with others that Glencross needs to pick it up. This team is fast, but Glencross SHOULD still look like one of the faster skaters out there - and he hasn't for much of the season.
I really like Hudler.

Butler will get all the hate but Brodie was bad tonight too.
Lots of poor decisions and giveaways. His gaff really hurt to make it 3-1 late in a period as well.

Ha? I am not sure where all the hate for Macdonald is coming from. In pretty much every single game he has given us a chance to win. Our defensive coverage was atrocious tonight and he made some big saves.
I am not sure how much better Ramo would have been on any of the goals. Maybe the breakaway but it is Teemu freakin Selanne and the second goal he had to deal with a shot in the slot because Butler turned it over and SOB screened him.
I'm not thrilled with the goaltending but definitely not why we lost. We lost because of Butler.

Liked Sven's compete level tonight. He wasn't giving up on pucks and he created a great chance in the third on a turnover. Also nice to see Colborne showing some signs

It wasn't the only reason we lost, but we were out-goaltended tonight

no kidding, all three goals its pretty easy to pick out the player at fault...not one was the goalie. And he did make a few big saves, guy at the other end was better but really what did we expect?

Weird.
I guess I'm just used to thinking of him as a small player, maybe from his injury history.
