How the tone of this changed...
Sven is whiny, entitled and lazy... now Sven says the right things in public and it is Sven is so likable, look at him smile, I love Sven haha.

Sven has Martin Gelinas as an asst coach.
If Gelinas was to take Sven under his wing and teach him how to be a 3 zone player...how to manage the clock and seize opportunities and turn out to be the same kind of player Gelinas was id be pretty happy.
Burke wants Sven to be Bobby Ryan...or hell even Jeff Skinner.
He isnt...hes Sven....I wanna see him succeed and Burke is right.
He didnt like Kadri either and now hes god....lol.

You can still be a fan of Sven and call him out for a less than impressive start to the year. I actually think the thread title is right: Burke isn't thrilled with what he has seen thus far. Doesn't mean he isn't valued. All it means that he can and should improve. No biggie.

No, no, no, don't you understand? If you think Burke's comments were potentially legitimate or not the worst thing ever you could do, that means you hate Sven and think he's a bust.
If you don't agree with Burke's comments that mean's that Sven's development is being stiffled by the worst organization in the league that ruins all it's players and is run by clowns.
These are the only feasible options on this debate......ok?

I think Burke has a great hockey mind but I hate the way he hurts his teams when he gets in front of a camera. Before you say that I'm being too soft on the rookies... I just don't like Burke using the media to put pressure on him. It only hurts the players relationship with the management and the fans.

Your words are well taken. I would feel more inclined to agree with you, though, if Burke had just offered up his thoughts without being asked. But, he was asked a question about Sven's play, and I really don't think his answer was too harsh on on Baertschi.
