That was boring as heck.

Not sure what game you guys were watching, but the offence was decent considering they had a cobbled together O-line and receiver corps, all being run by the 3rd string QB. Plus the defence was dominant, the Esks scored just one touchdown off a turnover barely outside the red zone. And the special teams, especially Paredes, made the Esks look like amateurs.

Stamps Front Seven, Jon Cornish and Rene Paredes won the game for us.

Actually, i have to give the OLine credit too. No Tsoumpas, then lost Federkeil early in the game and it is Edwin Harrison's first game back.

Now i know why DE Shawn Lemon haven't been back in the lineup for a few games now... that is because Cordarro Law playing on the opposite side of Charleston Hughes been playing awesome. MLB Juwan Simpson been a monster the last few games now.

Jon Cornish was the offense tonight. BLM struggles at times and the Eskimos defense wouldn't let Price run the ball after the catch.

Not a pretty win but we'll take it especially against Edmonton.

It was a very conservative offensive plan tonight. The only time BLM tried to stretch the field out he was picked off. Very low risk, take what we were given and basically try not to screw up, rather than going for the knockout.

The Eskimos O was awful, and was not going to put up anything on their own. 8 of their points came off turnovers, 3 of them were the direct result of an awful call by Jake Ireland at the Toronto command centre on the fumble challenge. Reilly obviously went down after tripping over his own lineman. The fact that he tried to get up to keep running even thought he knew his knee was down further affirms this. Glad it didn't cost us.

I was watching the game at a bar with no sound and I was trying to figure out why Reilly didn't fumble the ball. I figured it was because of some rule that he was a QB and it just counted as taking a knee kind of like the sliding rule or something, but now hearing it was down by contact that was the absolute BS call of the year.

7 sacks with 3 import OL, that's some good quality recruiting, Ed Hervey!

Interesting rumor I heard about who Edmonton will replace with Kavis Reed if and when he gets fired at seasons end (it sounds more then likely) as they will be going after Rick Campbell.
