Not much a festival but the Saskatoon Jazz Fest just announced Ben Harper and Tegan and Sara as two headliners.
Pretty pumped for Harper.

A lot of these festivals seem to blend together after awhile. There's certain bands/artists that seem to always be at festivals, depending on album release dates.
Festival A) Featuring Jack White, Outkast, Beck!!!
Festical B) featuring Outkast Beck, Jack White!!
Out in Europe: "It's every European festival this summer with Coldplay and Arcade Fire Headlining!!!!"

Horrible news.
Apparently the guy was loaded and tried to avoid a check stop. Plowed through a barricade and started driving down a closed off road and hit a crowd of people. Unbelievable.

Holy 90's revival! I am honestly shocked that names like Blues Traveler, Smash Mouth, Spin Doctors, Third Eye Blind and The Gin Blossoms are still doing their thing. That's awesome. Also, I'm pretty sure that Ed Kowalcyk was the singer of Live? Holy cow.
Not to mention Ladies Love Cool J! What a lineup.

Interesting to see Thee Oh Sees on there. There was a report a few months ago that they broke-up, or were on hiatus.
Camper Van Beethoven and Cracker overlap.

Yeah when they played here in October, they said they were going to take a break for a while. Guess that wasn't true.

Yes 3 times, I have spent a combined total of 6 months in Budapest in the last 5 years (my wife was born there) the festival is amazing. I see the Prodigy is playing don't miss them I don't know what it is about them but the go nuts at their shows.
Also don't miss trying to get out and see the city, Budapest is one of my favorite places in the world. Rich in history, fantastic beer, amazing food and gorgeous woman. Rent a car it's a very easy city to drive in.
