Anyone know if there a calendar I can download yet? Nothing on NHL.com or the Flames website.
Something I can plug into my Google calendar or my iPhone.

I can't stand weekday games that start that late... but you shouldn't need to take the entire next day off because of it. That's about as weak as it gets.

Yep, those will be on TSN for sure as they are on Wed. night. There 7 other Wed. night Flames games that start at 7:30 or 8:00. Hopefully, most of them will be part of TSN doubleheaders and their schedule should be out within a week. There will be 10 games on TSN and as mentioned, 12 games on HNIC which makes for 60 games on SN West and SN Flames. The cofred.ca site should be up come Sept.

Haha....agreed. I'm guessing those complaining (well, not really complaining) about 8:30 puck drops don't play rec hockey in calgary. Id kill for an 8:30 weekday start! Most of my games start at 10:30 or 11:00. By the time I get my parking lot beers in I'm home at 1:00am and can't fall asleep until 2:00 because im wired and hungry. Try getting up for work once per week after that!

Those 10 Flames games that will be on TSN are good picks. I like the 2 games against the Bhawks. The other good things about the Flames TSN schedule are that 6 games are on Wednesdays, 7 of them are at dinner time for Pacific viewers , and 8 are home games. The other 3 Wed. games not on TSN are vs. the BJs and 2 against the Coyotes. Both of those teams didn't make the playoffs last season.

There we have it, all 82 games are televised. Hopefully Burnsidet and Hoot will get the cofred site going, time permitting.

Yup it really helped having the season end late due to the lockout and the upcoming season start early for the Olympics. Usually the flames are done early April and don't play regular season until mid-oct.

So I see the SN schedule doesn't list any games in September on it. Does anyone know if there is more than one pre-season game (mentioned above on TSN) being shown?

It's doubtful that anymore games will be televised. I can't see any network showing a split squad game between the Flames and Oilers or the Flames and Islanders. Due to baseball, SN West won't be showing any preseason games but SN Flames could do it.

No, but luckily several Leafs games will be shown, including a couple on CBC. Thank God!
