But he doesn't have to trade Seguin. No pressure on him at all. If nobody overpays, Seguin stays.

People forget the fact that this is Bostons ASKING price.
When has anyone selling something of value, get what they want back? Your asking price is always in your favor, especially if its not something you really want to rid. What you get back in reality is always less.

True but they will have to get rid of somebody. Seguin on the trade market is due to the fact that they are going to be giving Rask starter money for next year. There is also talk that come July 5th that they will be announcing Bergeron's extension. I am sure that will not be cheap.

Shame that it leaked then because you've seen how this can effect a younger player always hearing trade rumours about him. re:Bobby Ryan

I'm not sold on Seguin at all. With all the injuries Boston had at Center he still couldn't crack C. He's good for sure, and if the price is right, but I wouldn't be trading away everything for him like some are suggesting.

Yup, unless they are planning on picking up a RW in free agency, that makes the Flames the worst possible trading partners (unless they are inexplicably crazy about Stempniak).

I like the idea of going after Seguin but you don't toss away the future to get him.
Horton , just say no.

I would rather keep the #6 pick.
If Feaster could somehow package 22nd and 28th with Giordano and Gudreau then I would pull the trigger.

Need to find the way to keep 6 and get Seguin.
Glencross: Affordable contract is attractive, need wingers.
Gaudreau: Know Boston has interest
22nd pick
Add the 28 pick or Backlund if needed.

I'd offer the Oilers 7th pick & Magnus P. for Seguin in a heartbeat.

I don't think Paajarvi has the kind of value to get that done. The Oilers don't seem like a good fit as their valuable players all make big salaries or are 1st overall picks that I doubt you would want to move.

You think Boston's gonna want Iggy after he snubbed them at the deadline? Lol

22+28+Johhny for Seguin and whatever other contracts Boston wants to dump on us. Glencross could be included as well but I want a bit more value than just Seguin coming back (Bartkowski maybe?)

Time will tell, the B's problem is cap space and this could be a solution.

I'd go 6, Gaudreau and see if Glencross would waive. Could replace some of the scoring they lose with Horton at a cheap rate.

Is this a situation where the Flames could eat half of Cammalleri's salary to boost his value to a team trying to fit under the cap?
