I have a hard time believing that Bjorkstrand won't be a first round pick.

Yeah that kid was everywhere in that OT. I was going to ask if he was draft eligible this year.

Hope Wiesbrod and the staff were scouting this series carefully.

Is Loubardias sporting the spray-on tan?

Shaw has the best post-game of all sports networks.

Game Six, starting now on Shaw (10/303).

If the OKs win, Game Seven goes tomorrow at 8pm MT in Portland. If the Hawks win, they pack their bags for Saskatoon.

Ty Rattie just became the all-time WHL playoffs goal scoring leader with his 48th goal in the playoffs while shorthanded.

Then he scored again on the same powerplay for his 2nd shorthanded goal of the game and 49th career goal

I have to say that I don't notice Seth Jones nearly as much as I was expecting through the 2 games I have watched in this series. I have been looking for a dominant super star level player and haven't seen anything close to that yet. Maybe I have seen a couple of his off games?

I've watched 4 games this year and saw one rush where I though he maybe had something. Didn't end up scoring or even making a play. I don't see it, but if I'm honest, I'm the worst hockey talent evaluator in the world

The Winterhawks win the WHL Championship 4 games to 2.

They won tonight 5-1. Wotherspoon had an assist.

Brossoit finished the playoffs with a 0.935 SV%. He had 0.933 SV% during last year's Championship run.

After a very early goal by the Oil Kings, two quick SH goals by Ty Rattie gave the Winterhawks a lead that they'd never give up. Rattie ended the game with a hat trick, giving him 50 career WHL Playoff goals (setting a new league record).

The Hawks won the game 5-1 and the series 4-2.

After two years as the runner-up, finally, your WHL Champions are the Portland Winterhawks.

Ty Rattie named MVP of the WHL Playoffs.

Rattie named playoff MVP. I guess Sven was holding him back.

Portland's Alternate Captains: Tyler Wotherspoon, Ty Rattie, and Taylor Peters. Portland's captain: Troy Rutkowski. Apparently, if you don't have the letters T and Y in your name, you don't to wear a letter for the Winterhawks.

ugh, are we going to have to hear about Rattie and how amazing he is and how we should trade for him for another 6 months again?

From the commentary I've heard, it doesn't sound like the Flames could have gotten Rattie straight up for Bouwmeester.

I like him, but he's more of a perimeter player that makes the most of his chances. He could be a 25 goal scorer in the NHL.
