I could still see Carolina and Edmon-tank passing us.

Pitts may take it easy in their last game, enough for the Canes to at least steal an overtime point. Oilers have 2 more tries to show up, just need one. Again, their opponents might take a night off in preparation for the post season. And the Preds are just hopeless.

Any one of those "tier 2" players will still instantly be the best prospect in our system. Other than Baertschi and maybe Gaudreau they'd be our best by a fairly large margin. Granted they're not likely to be "franchise players", but it will still be a huge step in the right direction.

"Playing the race card" Your bias is showing here.

Just the idea of a black guy in hockey pointing out the prejudice against him is offensive to you. How dare he!

This is a league/sport where stereotyping Eastern Europeans is commonplace. I dunno, did you mentally sweep under the rug the Simmonds banana incident and TSN's "White Way" freudian slip?

I don't doubt there's racism in the NHL. Absolutely. I'm saying that Kane is a punk, his interview shows as much and during a contentious CBA/lockout he tweets stacks of dough in Vegas and then says criticism is based on being black.

Im sure Iggy has seen his share of racism during his career, but he doesn't pull the crap Kane did/does.

Anyways, another OOT that doesn't go the Flames way. Sigh.

So, if Dallas beats Columbus, the Jackets are then eliminated.

That back breaking loss could be a favorable thing going into the game vs. Nashville. Might throw in the towel mentally if they their chances at the playoffs are slashed. If they're still playing for something though, then the Preds probably don't stand a chance.

^ That, plus Detroit, and more importantly Minnesota clinch playoff spots.

A Dallas regulation win tonight would mean that Minnesota takes it easy tomorrow against the Oilers.

No, he is suggesting that the people that were cheering for wins must be happy with where the Flames are right now in the standings. They clearly didn't want to draft in the top 3 and now, that likely will not happen.

Arrogant fan base? Other than one tool poster on here I'm not sure how Jets fans are arrogant. We were picked to finish what 13th? Want to see arrogance check the Oilers every September and June.

Minnesota had a big game against the Flames too, and they flubbed it. I could see them losing tomorrow.

Well, there are some positives. If they win tomorrow, they clinch, and Columbus misses the playoffs.

I can then see a demoralized Columbus team losing to Nashville, moving us up one spot.

No, Edmonton isn't winning again this season, they are on a mission from TankGod.

Minnesota is going to score like wild on the stupid Oilers, the final should be 7-1. If it was Colorado on Friday, then it would be more difficult.
