Well the other thing is that when he knew he couldn't get to Daniel on that goal he just gave him a two-hander across the back. There wasn't any question of playing the puck, he just knew if Daniel scored the penalty would be wiped out. Basically a cheap shot attempt to hurt another player illegally. I know people are all about hits to the head right now, but at least those plays RESEMBLE normal clean hockey plays. It's stuff like that slash that I consider particularly dirty - doesn't look anything like a hockey play, is intended to cause harm and has the potential to actually seriously hurt someone.
