Well Iggy and Cervanka are the only real free agents. I would fire Feaster now let a new GM come in and blow it up in the summer. Let Iggy decide what he wants to do cause we owe it to him.
Iggy has a NTC, he already gets to decide what he wants to do.
11 wins 17 losses no matter how you slice it. How many doe eyed optimists can possibly be left?
I guess the real question is Jay Feaster one of them?

You guys remember the year-long Blue Jackets jokes all over the internet and in your daily conversations? Yeah... that's going to be the Flames, this offseason.

If that's is what Iginla wants sure, but then they don't have a choice.
if he is OK with a move you move him because they need those assets coming back (though they will be less spectacular than many hope for).
They may not have other free agents but they have other guys they can move that don't have a place moving forward.

the Flames could do a lot of good things before summer

Jay wanted to blow this team up last year but got smacked down, and seems to have turned into a subservient waste of space. I am not the biggest Feaster fan but no way is he so dumb as to think this current team is anywhere near good enough.

Right, I just dont think were gonna get that great deal for Iginla a lot of people are hoping for. I also feel that the value of a lot of the players on this team is decreasing with this play. Feaster could make it a lot worse.

Ya I think he wanted to last year, Brent demanded it and ownership refused it
