Pretty much only the best of the best get paid to use gear. You can probably assume that a guy used in promotional material (lou, Crosby, Stamkos, Lundqvist) actually get paid, and most of them don't get paid as much as you think. At least this is true in the goalie world.

Highly doubtful that MacDonald gets paid anything by Vaughn to wear their pads, or Bauer to wear their mask. Kipper, on the other hand, would likely have an endorsement with Bauer for his pads, and gloves

Not sure that is the direction they went but considering the role that "Mack" plays in the Cars movie that is a good catch.

Taylors mask has Heat on one side and flaming C on the other whats so dam special about that, Kipper will never change his mask, Mac's mask is on the lighter side of things and I think the youngsters are going to like his mask.

Best lid so far for the flames has to be McElhinney's
