I said in the GT that the Jackman Begin Comeau line looked like the only one that had any talent.

Hartley just mentioned in the post game presser that some players for some reason took an option to take today's game off and he gave them a stern talking . He specifically said that Jackman's line was good and I don't think he can complain about Stemp's line. Horak's line was decent so I think he had a good talking with Iginla's line post game. Expect their next game to be MUCH better.

I agree, but it's nearing Trevor Linden in 2007 whiney.

Emotion is what Horak showed tonight. Loved his game. He never stopped moving his feet.

I don't think this is Feasters fault, which one of these current problems did he not inherit?

A stern talking to, that outta do it. Even better, why not a frowning of a lifetime? We'll win 10 in a row.

Who are we going to try next in goal? We have officially seen how bad our depth at goaltending is. They are all brutal. If you can't make basic saves to keep us in the game please just save us the time and go back to the ahl. Maybe 6 players on the Ice with net empty will get us better results

Some People in this thread are saying the flames lost because they are too old. The coyotes two best forwards (arguably) are 36 and 38. You're right. Maybe iginla isn't being managed properly, so why they lost tonight has nothing to do with age.

Worst game we have played all season. Thought Taylor looked better than both Irving and Macdonald. We just played terrible

Feaster's had over two calender years in charge of this team, no more playing of that card.

Still can't believe we chose Brent Sutter over Dave Tippett.

Hartley also said that it takes total team effort from all the players to win in this league, total team effort and Flames didn't have that today. We've heard this before from Brent Sutter I think...so it's the same ol' problem it seems... hopefully Hartley's message will be more effective than Brent's in the past..

Clearly when you score zero goals, goaltending is the real issue.

As of last word from the team, Kiprusoff will be out three weeks total. Or thereabouts.

I get what you're saying, but Stajan has been Calgary's most consistent forward so it's hard to complain about him. That line looked good tonight and Stajan specifically looks like a re-invigorated player. Unfortunately he is still our best center and not our third line center which would be the ideal role for him.

Yeah they have been using this option way too much over the last few years it seems...maybe it comes with making $7MM a season and long term contract

It would be interesting to see how much owners play a part in his decisions.

It's got to be easy this year to see what he needs to do, but we'll see I guess
