I'd imagine they're pissed that they didn't capitalize on all the opportunities he gave them while we capitalized on the only one he gave us.

Yes but he was the 4th line winger and not the 1st line centre with Iggy.

As he should be. Comeau in a 4th line capacity and being bumped up to teh 3rd line when injuries hit isn't a bad thing at all.

Islanders fans were saying that he just dropped off a cliff between the year of 24 goals and the year he was waived...so he lost his confidence over the summer.

Wonder what could have happened then.

Coma had a great play tonight in the third period. To skate it all the way in and hold onto it. Credit where credit is do!

Could have happened at the end of the season, could have happened in camp too.

Looking at ice-time it looks like Comeau was pushed down in the lineup as of opening day last season. He averaged 18:41in ice time in 2010/11 and then to start 2011/12 he was immediately getting under 12 minutes (ended up averaged 12:53 in his time there). It looks like in 2010/11 he played with Okposo and Bailey and to start the following year it appears Comeau and Bailey were pushed down to the 3rd like to play with Rolston and Comeau also lost his PP time (went from 2:30 a game to practically nothing).

I'm not sure why, but the second I saw Rolston's name I thought it made sense, no idea why though, just one of those things.
