can't understand why that would be an unpopular opinion.

facebook is stupid
twitter is stupid
feeling the need to constantly keep people up to the minute on what you are doing is stupid.

Edit - I should say 90% of what fb and twitter are being used for is stupid. I think 10 % of it is useful even though I personally don't use twitter and log into fb only about once a year.

So I guess maybe you can exclude my previous "opinion" from this thread. It wasn't opinion; it was fact.
You are aware people make much more right?

I'm somewhere between the generation you are referring to, and you. And it seems to me that anyone who is willing to work hard has it about as easy as ever, at least in Calgary. One difference I see now versus before is younger adults are much more poorly equipped to deal with the real world, so that's why things seem so tough.

Just generalizing, not specifically talking about you.

I appreciate facts and stats as much as the next guy, but I have a theory that the easier people have it, the less they appreciate it. I can't present you stats or facts that back my theory, but there's no way the current generation is more appreciative than their parents.

I'm 31, my parents are boomers and they busted their asses to make sure I had a life full of "things" and opportunities they didn't. It didn't make me grateful, it made me spoiled and it took my entire 20's to realize it.

Not saying we have it easy now, it's definitely a grind out there and there's way more competition in everything today. But we don't have it tougher than them. Just my opinion, dude.

If cost of living and housing costs are too high then move to a city or small community where it's cheaper.

I think the best party to lead the country is the NDP. I also believe Jack Layton would have been an excellent Prime Minister. RIP Jack.

I do not believe in god and think religion is one of the largest problems humanity as a whole faces.

I think the most interesting people are nerds/geeks. The most attractive women are nerds/geeks.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all but the assasination of JFK by only Oswald and nobody else just doesn't ring true to me.
