I went for a lunch date today (yeah I know lunch dates are lame) with a woman almost as geezer-ish as I am; I'm jabbering away and she says "You know, you talk really fast and I got lost 2 or 3 sentences back." I tried dating someone my own age many times before I found this one. Single girls in their late 20s and early 30s are interesting beasts, and the pickings are slim. You learn why lots of them have been dumped over and over, and many of the others are talking about getting your baby in them before the cheque hits the table on the first date. Strange and interesting times....
