Well compared to other CHL teams I guess other than Windsor who won b2b there hasn't really been a dominant team or as consistent

Kelowna, Spokane, Calgary, Quebec, London have all been more dominant, more consistent, or both.

Giants have never been considered an elite CHL team year to year. Sorry.

I think Vancouver has benefited in playing in a fairly weak division the last handful of years, outside of Kelowna, the other teams have been on the average side at best.

The Hitmen have picked up forward Brendan Hurley from the MJHL. He has played in WHL before, with both Medicine Hat and Kootenay. Hitmen are dealing with lots of forwards out right now.

Worst effort of the year for the Hitmen tonight. Down 3-0 to the Tigers. Got Dreidger out of there with 3 games in 3 nights.

Hitmen lost 10-1, I turned the game off in the 2nd period. Best part is they get to head up here to Red Deer tomorrow and take on the Rebels, I suspect the Hitmen will be a cranky bunch tomorrow.

Quebec? Weak league. Agreed with Spokane and London.

Blazers win again....

Blazers played in front of a standing room only crowd and won 8-1 over Brandon.

Led 7-0 early in the 2nd and just called off the dogs after. Could have scored well into double digits tonight had they chosen.

Had more goals in the 1st, than Brandon had shots.

Good atmosphere at the ISC tonight. Fans are realizing this is a once - per - generation team.

Can't wait to see them play in person when they're in town.

Weak league? Teams from the Q have won the last two Memorial Cups.

Its good at stacking its top teams with ridiculous deals but it is clearly the bottom of the 3 leagues.

Could you further clarify this?

Don't disagree, would just like to know exactly how this is done.

I think they have cut down and this and will have to go back a few years to look at the exact deals but there seemed to be a lot of deals like the Kitchner-London deal where I trade you my top guys this year and then get either them back or some other good guys back on my team after you make your run.

Slow start, it's only 4-0 after one

Figured tonight might be a trap game after such an easy win yesterday but maybe not.

They are playing for the third consecutive night tomorrow in Seattle, then play Everett, Kelowna and PG for a very busy week ahead.

The streak will likely come to an end sometime this week. Betting its Kelowna, who is playing amazing hockey right now and always gets up for games against the Blazers.

edit: terrible second period and its 4-2. Outcome still in doubt; should make for an exciting third.

That's a solid team over there.

Dumb move by the WHL not picking Cole Cheveldave to play in the Russia subway series. He's been the best goalie in the league this year, outplaying both Brossoit and Eric Comrie.

Wouldn't be surprised if he takes it personally and keeps up his strong play this year.

When you really think about it, the Blazers are likely to be even better come January and after the trade deadline. They are, imo, going to try to add for a long playoff run and potentially a trip to the Memorial Cup.

They may still get Austin Madaisky back. He started the year in the AHL but got sent to ECHL recently. He would be their best defenseman though it would mean another 20 would have to go (likely DePape).
