Mountain Biking seems like such a crapshoot though. Smallest mistake or variable can cost you....not unlike triathlon or road cycling. Seems like one of those sports that you can be first or 20th. Here's hoping!

Going into the third round - probably can't medal at this point? Not looking too good thus far?

If the top7 teams drop the baton in the men's 4X100 we should win gold!

Open water at that. No swimming pool for these guys. Apparently the Canadian, Richard Weinberger, has exploded onto the scene in that sport and is a strong contender.

It's too bad all the best divers on the Canucks aren't Canadian or else they could be our best medal hopes.

Luongo! They would have to change the pool water every nite though due to the greasy hair.

It's going to be really difficult for Warner to make up that distance and medal. He'd need to beat Suarez by somewhere around 10 seconds in the 1500, and for reference, Suarez beat Warner by about 30 seconds at the 2011 world championship. Still, if he has the race of his life and Suarez unexpectedly struggles, who knows?

1-0 US at the half.
CLEAR US handball not called in the box, and the woodwork has been Hope Solo's best friend. Refs in American pockets again... that was so clear 88 thousand at Wembley gasped. Grrrr....

Anybody wanna predict anyone besides Usain Bolt for the 200?
^The worst part? That definitely looks intentional, arm stuck wide out.

At 5-1 I'd definitely throw down $20 on Yohan Blake. Probably the only guy who has a chance to beat Bolt.

It was so intentional, in a men's World Cup, that might be a red card.
