Ryan Cook has really struggled for the A's the last couple of weeks. 4 blown saves in his last 6 opportunities. When you really look at, if it wasn't for the A's pitching they'd be last by a country mile because they really only have Reddick and Cespedes as good hitters and Reddick is very streaky. The A's lineup is awful as well which why I'm glad they didn't sacrifice any young talent for rentals at the deadline.

Good win today, for Jays. Day off tomorrow, then a series against the Rays in ugliest stadium known to man.

Tough series for the A's. I was hoping for more after they won the first 2 but you can tell the amazing streak has come to an end, just not getting the timely hits or pitches. The good news is they didn't let the Jays gain any ground in the WC race and they still lead the Angels.
