Jesus H. Tapdancing Christ Mos Def is a complete ######. One of the most poorly spoken human beings I have ever been tortured to witness.
What on earth compelled them to put this guy on a talkshow? This is painful. Not to mention, who gives a rat's ass about his opinion?
What's funny is they put him in the same forum as two of the most articulate and intelligent people in the world in both Rushdie and Hitchens. The producers must have desired to juxtapose his idiocy against polymathy.
"Hubby" needs to be retired. Not only has it turned millions of husbands into pet objects and been overused for years by wives who like to compare finger nail polish, it is dangerously close to sounding like British slang for the chassis/axle area of a vehicle.
Be gone, "Hubby" - a hex on you and your house.
The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to Ozy_Flame For This Useful Post:
"I could care less" So you have more care in you, you have some care for the item/person/incident?
"Bro, Bra, Bru"...or anything else along those lines.
"Learnt"....I mean come on!!
"Come On!!"....
"On a go forward basis"
"just blue skying"
Learnt is correct.
Never heard those last two.
Using "seen" in the annoying way is pretty much outing yourself as a moron.

The unfortunate part of most of these phrases is that at one point they were fairly clever. Then, they either permeated the middle-class under 25 year olds OR they were started by that same group and were stupid phrases from the start.
Anyways, some I want to be retired:
- Swag.
- Crunk (instead of "drunk").
- Carom (it's the new catch phrase for all play-by-play guys in hockey).

Crunk and drunk are definitely not the same thing. Being drunk is awesome and being crunk sucks ass.
