Where can you find his writings on how to disappear? Really don't want to watch any video of him but want to see some of his stuff.

Any one who thinks mailing parts of your last murder victim to various poliical parties after a career as a bisexual porn actor and one time date of Karla Holmolka is unlikely to have anything usefull to say about disapearing, in fact I think I will publish a blog on disapearing, it will start with the paragraph

'dont be a porn actor, date serial killers, netcast yourself killing kittens or mail bits of your victim to the authorities'

Apparently his "How to Disappear" crap, besides ripping off a Radiohead song title, is also ripping off a book about how to disappear by someone else.

Some of his best books are Journey into Darkness, Anatomy of Motive, Obsession and Mind Hunter.

Robert Ressler is also a former FBI profiler who has a few great books including Whoever Fights Monsters and I have Lived in the Monster.

Signature Killers, by Robert D. Keppel is a decent read, as is Hunting Humans, by Elliot Layton.

When my closet door is 3/4 open and I know I am being watched I just disappear under my magic quilt of disappearing. You know, like a ninja.

Chilling stuff:

He warned the paper in December, he would kill, and soon.

Reporter who interviewed him is still traumatized by the incident.

Are you serious? If you know anything about the subject at all, you would know both are predominantly genetic.

The more APSD is studied the more it is proven that it is genetic. Personality though is certainly genetic with a strong environmental influence.

You don't get to choose which people are considered criminal based on your bias of mental illness, yet the legal system sort of has. This is unfortunate.

If you are going to lecture people at least tell the truth. Sure, in the medical world both are different, but don't make it seem like one is the person's fault and the other is not.

Someone can take medication in order to cure the symptoms associated with schizophrenia however, the same does not exist for people who have Anti-Social Personality Disorder. While the research does indicate that there are inherent genetic aspects associated with all personality, I do think that the question needs to be asked whether this individual knew, even on a base level that what he was doing was wrong.

I don't have all the facts yet and I have yet to see the video, nor will I ever care to see a video of someone being murdered, but the fact that this individual has planned for months in order to kill someone leads me to think that there was ample time for him to realize that what he was doing was wrong, unlike someone who has paranoid schizophrenia and believes something about aliens trying to kill him or whatever it was. While I don't have the insight into either case (as none of us really do) in order to make a determination of either persons character, I do tend to have a greater amount of empathy for someone who does have a diagnosable disease and at least has the ability to be treated and empathize with others.

That's a bit of a stretch. Throw in help with, lessen, reduce, or aleviate some or all. But hardly "cure".

^^^ he did say 'cure the symptoms' not the actual problem of affliction. I do get what you are saying though.

You are right that was poor wording on my part, schizophrenia is not a curable disease at the current time, however it is possible to treat the symptoms, which would be a much more apt statement.

The general principle of my post remains the same, while they are both crimes, and both very disturbing crimes at that, that alone does not make them comparable, especially when judging the characters of the offenders. I treaty dislike the fact that someone is saying that due to the fact that there are genetic components to personality disorders that they are the same as a noted disease such as schizophrenia. In one case the person is still capable of logical thought, in the other it is greatly diminished.

Apparently police are closing in on him in Paris. Hundreds of tips and have been placed. Police found his hotel room and his belongings.

Although he has been spotted with another guy. Hopefully he is caught before he kills again.
