I have an older Sportscraft tent trailer that goes up and down by chain. All of a sudden the last time we used it the back goes all the way down, but the front doesnt and then when we try to put it up again the front gets all the way to the top but the back only goes about 3/4 of the way. Any suggestions? The chains are still intact, although the back one seems a lot tighter and there is no obstruction around the crank that runs through the trailer.

Anybody got any ideas to the issue here? This one has me stumped and I'd hate for the problem to be a huge one for him, since he's new to trailer camping.
Two things. In my old unit there was a button by the bed that the flip up counter had to depress in order for the power to work. That may not be working if he has that as well. Also, in mine the fuse holder was really finicky. The fuse would be okay but I had to make sure the holder was pressed in just so in order for it to work. Once it worked it was fine but it had to be put in just right. Sometimes it took one or two tries, sometimes 10.

That's all I have.
