Well, that depends on what he thinks of as work. If I had that kind of money in the bank, I'd 'work' at whatever I felt like (likely, backstage theatre work). But he could do what he wanted, and leave if he didn't like the job. It's awfully boring to sit around day after day, week after week, month after month. You need to keep your time occupied with something.

I love what I do and the people I work with. In fact even if I wasn't working there, I would spend a lot of my time doing pretty much the same thing at home for fun.

ALL ABOARD!

I don't think it's fair to keep your job if you win a substantial lottery. I'd feel guilty keeping a job that someone else would love to have when I don't need it.
I'd rather create more awesome jobs with my money. If owning a business isn't your thing, you could also hire someone to run the day-to-day while you do the work that you love.

Nobody won so they do it all again next week. Good news for everyone who forgot. Not so good news for those who dropped $100 or so.

One $1 million winner in Calgary, two in Edmonton. Pretty good considering its usually won in the east. Next week is $50 million grand prize and (33) million dollar prizes!

Yeah, none of us here are winning the lottery until we're retired... that's usually how it goes.

Not nearly as bad as not understanding how the game works.

I don't get these people who say they'd continue to work after winning $50 million. For starters, I'm not sure I could handle all the resentment and douchbaggery from jealous co-workers if I did something like that.
I'd quit my job if I won the Pizza 73 jumbotron contest at a Flames' game FFS.

People would quit the rigid bad jobs with crappy managers that they have but a person still needs to work and do something to keep busy. Open business, be a consultant, something with freedom and enjoyment.
