Even before the run out... WI lost 3 wickets for 1 run. They didn't even get to the batting PP. That's very poor impatient batting chasing a low total.
England are pretty much through, they need one of the following..
Bangladesh lose to South Africa
OR
West Indies lose to India

A cracker of a match tonite to decide first place in group A. Pakistan vs Australia (undefeated since 99 world cup, guess who beat them then? yup Pakistan). Should be fun.
Also Pakistani Paceman Shohaib Akhtar will retire from international cricket post world cup. One of the most lethal bowlers to play the game, too bad injuries and controversy didn't lead to a more productive career.

Right now Bangladesh match is big too. A minnow playing in front of a full home crowd (including the president of the country!) for a place in the quarterfinals!

Second time the Tigers really crashed hard when it comes to batting, first time West Indies team bus was attached as was captain Al-Hassan house.
Wonder what they do this time, since this led to them being knocked out. Hopefully ppl relax and treat it as a game in the end against a far superior opponent.

Pakistan have defeated Australia by 4 wickets and stopped their world cup win streak. Full marks to Pakistan, they were the better team.
Pakistan wins group A.
Quarter-final matchups depend on the India-WI result.
If India win...
A1 Pak vs B4 WI
A2 SL vs B3 Eng
A3 Aus vs B2 Ind
A4 NZ vs B1 SA
If WI win..
A1 Pak vs B4 Eng
A2 SL vs B3 Ind
A3 Aus vs B2 WI
A4 NZ vs B1 SA
If match is tied or rained out...
A1 Pak vs B4 Eng
A2 SL vs B3 WI
A3 Aus vs B2 Ind
A4 NZ vs B1 SA
So NZ vs SA is a given.
Pak will play WI or Eng
SL & Aus can play any of WI, Eng, Ind.
So this final match will have huge bearings...

Pakistan is a much better match up for the 3 Lions. Who knows what side will show up. Plus many over here thought it would be India v Sri Lanka in the final and on spinning sub-continent pitches, you'd almost have to agree.
