Actually this is the guy communication providers love. They hate those with patience and confidence in their job. They pray on those that think we need to be available 24 hours a day.
In fact, I pray I can go back to the small town so I can tell those basterds to "pardon me?" when they ask me to do something after hours.

I lost a contract 1 year ago because of speeling errors. I was embarrassed. Believe me, the real world, including connections you make on forums, make a difference. Just so you know, I lost $10,000 (and this is a true story). Get over that? If such happened to you, which you claim to be immune too, (you grammar machine) it would be hard to "Get over".
Thanks CP please judge me on my grammar and spelling for free. Obviously I got lazy and it cost me.

No... You want to be available at all times... Point taken.

grammar... DONT you understand contractions?
You very much implied that you want immediate connection. Have you tried a dating service?

I'm freelanced. I just got a call today that gives me 100.00 per hour. (I edit fast but this is basically the math.) Call me at night after a certian hour and tell me what the clock says. After first contact? I'm not available trust me. And put your mind to this - it's not me who says I'm not to be contacted at night. It's the people I work with who decide I'm too busy and they freaking love me. But they don't love my night price.

My head is in no sands land. It's about Moral obligation to you and your fellow man and my private and personal goals. When I tell people I go on vacation work slows down. But the work that continues I still get 20% for. When I'm back I am busy but everyone is in the loop in a timely fashion and they freaking love it because they know what to expect.

I strongly believe that these new communication methods are simply tools to be applied and taken advantage of, not to replace the tried and true standard of personal communication (face to face).

I hope this helps to understand time management and boundaries.
I strongly believe you do what your told.

You should capitalize letters at the beginning of a sentence.

I reply to emails all day long at work, the last thing I really want to do is check any of that crap when I go home. People who are tied to their phones are really kind of pathetic. Electronic leash indeed. I go home and hang out with my kids, much more satisfying than typing something on a small screen.

I purposefully ensure that I can't check work email at home - when I leave the office, I stop thinking about work. There is no such thing as a can't-wait-emergency in personal injury law.

I find that a lot of people that are texting or emailing me late at night are pretty much posers who are trying to impress me with how hard they're working.
Frankly I rarely answer work emails after hour, I receive them, but if they're not important then they can wait until the next morning.
Also on the texting thing, I get annoyed by it, if its important call me. But if its not, you're wasting my time and energy.
I get it, if your business is focused out of off hour emails and replies, then cool, go to it. But if its not, then its just a waste of bandwidth.

Off topic (well, sort of, grammar has come up a lot in this thread), but CaptainCrunch, please use this post of yours as a reference for how to use the bolded words in the future. Let me offer my early congratulations for conquering what, so far as I can tell, is one of your few flaws as an excellent contributor to this forum.

Oh, and I don't know who or what this "U" person or organization is, but it sounds like quite the complication for them to act as a middleman between myself and whichever retailer I'm buying from.

Dear Mighty Tytan,
I am Mrs. Cena, I am married to Dr. Harward who worked with Bahrain embassy in Cote d'Ivoire for nine years before he died in the year 2009. We were married for many years without a child. He died after a brief illness. Before his death we were both good believers in the Lord and I try to maintain this tempo to the full.
When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $4.5 Million U.S. Dollars with a Finance Company and presently, this money is still with the Finance Company. Recently, my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next three months due to cancer problem. Though what disturbs me most is my stroke and having known my poor condition of health I decided to donate this fund to the Church of God, the poor and the helpless children of our society. I have found you after going through your profile and my instinct tells me you could be of a great help to the justly distribution of this wealth.
The Bible made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband's relatives are not believers and I don't want my husband's hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers. Any delay in your reply will give me a room in search for another religious individual for this same purpose.
I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner, hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death because I know that by the sepecial grace of God Almighty I will retire to His bossom when I die. Please do respond to me as quickly as you read this email.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
From Mrs. Cena.

How many times have you seen an email and wondered if it was actually a hot chick writing it.

I think it might be a university or something, there is obviously a high level of education involved here.

What is up with all the grammar and spelling police? Really? An internet message board, right?
And yes, I do believe that the use of cash will be replaced (not entirely) by smart phones and similar technology.

If you want to be taken seriously, make your message look like it was written by someone older than a 10 year old.
