Don't get me wrong I'm very happy for the guy. But how does one go from life threatening, to critical but stable, to hey I got some stitches but I'm walking out of here?

Amazing.

Guy gets pinned under c-train and is bleeding profusely from head (IIRC), transported to hospital and CPS report he is critical(fair assumption given the potential injury). Then gets to hospital and they clean him up and realize its just a gash and needs some stitches.

Tada!
