HOOT, can you actually schedule the games as well, or do I need to do it?

No I can do it when I get home. It will remind me to put money into Pokerstars as well since it's been a while on there.

Tourney is up on PS, I'm sure some have gotten the invite by email as well. Hopefully we can get a group together, I might ask a buddy to play as well if we don't have enough people and hopefully he will be home that night.

I see the tourny is on the 19th. I won't be able to do that one as I'm headed to Calgary for the Classic.
The other thing I was thinking is playing some cash games with 4 or 5 players. I will probably be playing on Friday night if anyone wants to play some cash.

You can register up to 2 minutes before the tournament, IIRC.

I think it said you take your seats 1 min before the start. But either way you should be fine...just gotta hope enough show up to play a game!

Really? for a home game that's pretty damn cheap but I could see where you are coming from when tournaments on PS start at 25 cents.

True. When we do "in person" games at our actual home it's $10 or $20.
But yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of the micro-tables (under $3) on PS.
Guess it's kind of a mix. You play with people you know in RL, but without the face-to-face.

No it was either or and it seemed most could make it tomorrow so I schedule it for then.
As for the $20 it's just to make it worth our while, I'm willing to play any type of game but it seemed most were between $10-50 so I took the middle ground.
If more people are willing to play if it's $5 or $10 then let us know and we can figure it out for another game, I just didn't know where to start at the time. I also find with $5 games people don't play poker they play all-in.

I won't be able to make Saturday's game as I have hockey that night.
Have you thought of just scheduling some tournaments for the next couple of weeks ahead of time? Make a few $5 games, a few $10 and a couple of $20 games. If people see them well ahead of time, we might get people out more often. Also, it might give a much better idea of what nights people might be able to play and for how much money.
If nobody registers for a particular tournament, no harm done. But I think it might get the ball rolling.

Good call! Just a mix and match between $5, $10 & $20 tourneys and go from there. Weekend non-Flames game days until the end of the season and just an idea of buy ins...
Sat Feb. 26 ($10)
Sat Mar. 5 ($5)
Fri Mar. 11 ($20)
Sun Mar. 13 ($5)
Fri Mar. 18 ($10)
Sat Mar. 19 ($20)
Fri Mar. 25 ($5)
Sun Mar. 27 ($10)
Sat Apr. 2 ($20)
Fri Apr. 8 ($10)
Do you think that would work? I can set up all these tourneys before/during the game tonight and just leave them up and see how many register.
