Long article, but details what an absolute mess the Eagles were this year with the friction Wentz and Pederson. Tl;dr version is that Wentz basically undermined Pederson by not running the plays that were called and being stubborn in film meetings.

Wentz sounds kind of like a bad teammate but this isn't really news because these rumours surfaces a before. I don't think Pederson is anything more than an average head coach but it seems like he was dealt a pretty bad hand and it's kind of hurt his career prospects as he's probably going to have to wait for an OC job and build his image back up.

I still think he will get another job.
He’s won a super bowl and an owner will buy into that

For sure if he goes to say the Seahawks and their offense is very good under him the stink of this season will fade away and he will get another opportunity. It may take a few years but I certainly wouldn't bet against it.

Hard to believe any organization could be so dumb as to create an atmosphere so toxic your generational QB wants out....but here we are.
The McNairs are a disaster.

Every once in a while the reality of pro sports his you in the face. You can be all invested in a team, an entire city or region can live and breathe what happens with the team, but the fact is that a pro sports franchise is a rich persons toy. And so when the mother who owns the team after her husband has passed, decides to let her son run it for fun, well that is her right. Even if he is not qualified to run a shoe shine stand.
At this point, Cal McNair must feel utterly humiliated but he’s still rich so there’s that.

Now that the New Orleans Saints have been eliminated from the NFL postseason, the Detroit Lions are expected to hire Saints assistant head coach/tight ends coach Dan Campbell as their next head coach, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The two sides still need to work out a deal, but it is not considered an obstacle, and Campbell is the head coach the Lions plan to hire, sources told Schefter.

Looks like Eric Bieniemy may get passed on once again despite the media doing its best to make the guy look like the 2nd coming of Andy Reid. The reality is that he's not been a good guy in the past and I don't blame any team owner from not wanting to hire a guy with his rap sheet as the head coach of my football team. Also working against him is that he's supposedly not a great interviewer and the most successful coaches from the Reid coaching tree have been on the special teams and defensive side of the ball as neither Naggy or Pederson have Reid's QB whisperer skills to coach up QB's to play their best.

Good for McDaniels, never seen a more obviously mediocre at best coach convince people he's actually amazing. And after watching New England's offense play like poo the last couple years, and backing out of the Colts job, he's doing amazing getting interviews let alone the gig.

After how the Patricia experiment went in Detroit, I'm shocked anyone is even thinking about a Belichek disciple right now, let alone McDaniels.
And I'd be shocked if the Seahawks were doing anything more than kicking the tires on Gase. The man needs some time away to let things settle and rebuild his image, let alone directly moving to the team where he chased Jamal Adams to. Good luck resigning Adams to anything long term if that were the case.
