There was a reason he dropped so low in the draft after scoring 50 goals. We have seen a lot of high scoring junior players that can't cut it in the NHL. Time will tell if he was a good prospect or not.

What does being a hockey fan have to do with anything? I'm pretty sure anyone that is checking this thread is a hockey fan.
Id rather this thread just be about Flames prospects.

Those are pretty good numbers for a young guy in the KHL are they not?

He is in the MHL, not the KHL. Big jump for him though. Last season he got 1 goal and 9 points in 53 games.

Gaudreau, Gillies, Agostino among NHL.com's candidates who could win Hobey Baker Award
Johnny Gaudreau had about as fine a season as a hockey player could ask for in 2012-13.
A sophomore forward at Boston College, Gaudreau led all NCAA hockey players with 1.46 points per game. His 51 points tied him for fourth among all players, and his 21 goals and 30 assists each ranked in the top 10. His six game-winning goals were tied for second, and his plus-19 rating was second on his team.

Lol, that's as funny as it is impressive. All it's missing is a robot eye graphic.

Monahan (If the Flames allow), Sieloff (Flames said they would allow him to go if invited) and Gillies are locks.
Poirier has a decent shot if he keeps playing solid.
Jankowski will need a great start to the year to make the team.
Unsure where Rafikov slots in on the Russian D, but he might have a chance.
Klimchuk will likely have a decent shot at the team next year.

Right. Took 10 minutes before on BCs site to find the actual date of the game..
Can't wait though. I think I'm going to be following that kid pretty religiously this season.
