Sounds like Eagles may be letting Chauncey Gardner-Johnson test free agency (or about to offer a longterm deal? I have my doubts), as they chose not to franchise tag him.
This was my question all season since that trade, great player/personality but he wants top 5 safety money. When Saints wouldn't give it to him, he became a huge distraction to the point they had to get him out of the building. Love the guy but not sure he's worth that, Eagles so far may tend to agree. If that holds true, I'm curious to see what he gets in free agency.
I hope it happens. Never guessed the Jets to be the ones to go after Rodgers, but I am all for change. Maybe Wilson can be moved elsewhere or at least play backup to Rodgers. He needs to get his head out of his ass.
Feels like the Jets have badly overplayed their hand here. Going so hard after Rodgers now means their fans will riot if they don't get Rodgers and have to settle for Jimmy G, so the Packers and/or Rodgers have a lot of leverage to extract a big amount from the Jets.

As a Packers fan I'm ready to move on. Time to see what Love has and start to rebuild. We've been spoiled for far to long in our QB position and i'm ready to be hurt
I like this trade for the Bears as they weren't going QB and may still get their guy at 9 if four QB's are taken by their pick. Moore isn't a throw in as he's a quality WR.
